FIG Commission Publication Author Support Grant

The FIG Foundation has an author support grant available,  and provides 28,000 Euros.

The rationale behind the grant is that FIG has a number of publications on policy and practice which relate to developing countries, but they are not written by people living and working in those countries.
Although the application is supposed to be driven by the commission chairs, it is up to motivated individuals who would like to write a FIG publication to contact their respective a commission chair and develop a proposal Preferably NOW (February 2019) in order to be included in the commission working.

If this is of interest to you, do not hesitate to contact the FIG Office or a Council member asap.

Do note that the Foundation has produced a couple of videos on writing grant proposals to the FIG Foundation. They are on the Foundation’s web page. Potential author’s and commission chairs should view these before submitting a proposal. For more information about the grant and to watch the video, please visit http://fig.net/figfoundation/2019_commission_grant.asp
