"FIG Commission 9 is focusing on the economic strand of surveying and specifically the valuation/appraisal of real estate. Commission 9 also looks at compulsory acquisition, sustainable land and property taxation, new technology such as AVMs, informal land markets, new sectors such as natural-ecosystem value and international standards such ILMS and IVSC valuation standards and methodology. Join us for an international (English-speaking) FIG Commission 9 Workshop in Croatia which is a part of the 8th Croatian Cadastre Congress 2026. The theme of the Congress is "Cadastre – Support to Land Management". The organisers are FIG member The Croatian Geodetic Society in cooperation with FIG Commissions 7 and 9.
