The FIG General Assembly was held at the Cleopatra Ballroom. Totally 56 member associations had sent their representatives to the meeting and there were also many observers at both meetings - including Prof. Yu, immediate past President of ISM.

... and naturally the ECSM, whose representatives were Dr. Ahmed El-Sheikh, Chair of the Organising Committee of the conference and President of the ECSM, and Eng. Mohamed Mosaad Ibrahim, Secretary General of the conference and Vice President of the ECSM. Eng. Mosaad was also one of the two tellers of the meeting.
