Bratislava
Bratislava - the capital of Slovakia has 500 000 inhabitants.
Bratislava is located in the Central Europe on the geographical bracke
of Alpen and Carpatic Region, over the longest river of Europe – the
Danube. The old city centre of Bratislava is small but very nice.
Dominants of the city centre are the Opera-house, Castle and the St.
Martin’s Cathedral, where 11 Hungarian kings were crowned in 17th –19th
centuries.

Technical programme of the conference takes place in the congress
hall
of Hotel Devin**** in Bratislava, which is located at river bank in the
old city, in walking distance from the National Theatre, National Museum
and St. Martin’s Cathedral.

Connections
The location of Bratislava near the state boundaries with Austria (45
km to Vienna) and Hungary (200 km to
Budapest) builds excellent
connection worldwide. The Vienna International Airport gives the
possibility to achieve Bratislava from any state (city) around the world
at any time (more then 30 flights/hour). Connection between Bratislava
and Vienna is ensured by bus (each 90 minutes), by train (60 minutes/train),
by taxi (ca 30 Euro). The best connection between Bratislava and
Budapest is the railway - there are IC and EC trains in each 120 minutes.
