Established as the Survey Training Centre under Survey Department in 1968 with the technical assistance of Government of India by providing principal and instructors. Recently under the Ministry of land reform and management having Department level status To conduct several trainings in Surveying & Mapping and Land Management. About 5000 Survey technicians were trained so far Has significant role for Human Resource development in this Domain Stepping towards adoption of new technology Products of LMTC are spreading in different sectors inside the country and abroad (even in key posts) Launched BE in Geomatics Engineering since 2007 in collaboration with Kathmandu University Planning to replace its basic and junior level trainings by Diploma in geomatics engineering, a three years course. | ||
