Guided Coach Tours
Note: All departures will be from the IESSG car park on the
campus. Prices include all fees and admissions
Tour 1.
Robin Hood Country – Through Sherwood Forest and small towns and
villages associated with famous outlaw. A buffet lunch (included) at a
picturesque village inn, then on to Newstead Abbey and its magnificent
estate, once the home of Lord Byron.
Depart 10.00 am Return 5.15 pm Price: £18.00 each
Tour 2.
Sherwood Forest – Visitor Centre – the Major Oak and countryside,
and a chance to dance to ‘dance’ round a Maypole! – refreshment stop at
a country inn.
Depart 1.30 pm. Return 5.30 pm. Price: £10.00 each
Tour 3.
D. H. Lawrence Birthplace – visit the house where this world famous
author was born, and the countryside that inspired him, and Durban House
– a museum with strong Lawrence connections.
Depart 1.30 pm. Return 4.30 pm. Price: £10.00 each
Tour 4.
Guided Stroll around Nottingham
Get to know the city centre with a two hour gentle walk, taking in the
main sights – the Castle, historic pubs, shops, entertainments, etc. our
guides can show you things you might otherwise miss!
