Aim
The working group will prioritise its activities based on the terms of
reference. It will do so by taking the basic work flow of "data acquisition" –
"data administration and management" – "data provision and distribution" as
underlying structure into account.
The working group 7.3 aims to focus mainly on the following items:
- to explore Open Source possibilities (from field data acquisition to
adjustment, data management and data provision)
- to continue the data modelling activities (cadastral core data model)
- to explore new technologies that might impact on land administration
such as e.g. orthophoto technology and Google Earth possibilities
- to focus on technology and procedures for enhanced and simplified
customer contact (e.g. orthophoto, notepad, etc)
Depending on the discussions during the annual meetings and the course of
action, the list can be extended and adapted.
