The Conference will be hosted by the Department of Surveying, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Slovak University of Technology Bratislava.

INGEO2004 is the 3rd event in the series of engineering surveying conferences organized by the Department of Surveying at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. This conference is for the first time organised as the FIG Regional Event for the Central and Eastern Europe in really close cooperation and with support of the FIG Commission 6 Working Group WG 6.2 chaired by Thomas Wunderlich (Germany) and Working Group 6.3 chaired by Lothar Gründig (Germany). Both WGs have planned workshops for 2004 to discuss the main topics of their work. As a result of this cooperation and based on the mentioned subjects, with main focus to support Central and Eastern Europe Region, Bratislava (Slovakia) was selected as the venue of this joint event.
